El encierro.

En la ciudad el sonido de las sirenas no dejaba de escucharse desde que había empezado la pandemia.
Por las calles se respiraba el miedo, en casa nadie hablaba, no nos mirábamos a los ojos, nos limitábamos a comer rápido para no tener que estar juntos mucho tiempo.
De pronto sentía que el virus se generaba solo de estar junto a alguien. Me lavaba las manos constantemente, las tenía agrietadas y algunas veces terminaban sangrando. Por las noches me untaba tanta vaselina que las cosas se resbalaban.
Me recostaba en la cama pero no podía dormir, daba tantas vueltas, pensaba en mil cosas. Las ventanas tronaban con el descomunal aire que soplaba.
Cuando finalmente me quedaba dormida me despertaba un sobresalto, siempre a las 4 de la madrugada. Me asomaba a la ventana y veía todo en completa calma.
Volvía a la cama y revisaba mi teléfono, las noticias eran siempre las mismas.
Estaba agotada.
