El vestíbulo del hotel parecía bañado en oro. El piso de porcelana con incrustaciones de jade era demasiado resbaloso para los zapatos altos que llevaba, tuvo que sujetarse de lo que en un principio creyó era un simple jarrón, sin embargo, se trataba de una esplendorosa pieza de cristal cortado repleto de flores. Quedó maravillada con el aroma que aquellas delicadas y blancas gardenias desprendían, inundando con su perfume el vestíbulo. Por un breve instante recordó a Joshep.
